No Granger, no problem; Pacers end losing streak by beating 76ers
As expected, Danny Granger was suspended for his part in the altercation against the Phoenix Suns.
No worries. The Pacers ended their 4-game losing streak anyway against a much easier opponent, the Iverson-less Philadelphia 76ers, 107-96.
Dahntay Jones led the team in scoring with 25 off the bench, and Brandon Rush added 24 points and 9 rebounds. Roy Hibbert also had a solid game with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists.
On the flip side, Josh McRoberts, who has been a spark plug off the bench for the Pacers, played only 4 minutes. Rookie AJ Price didn't get any court time at all. Seems these two will only get playing time when there is a blowout.
Perhaps this is all part of Jim O'Brien's secret attempt to tank? Let's face it, the team does play better with McRoberts and Price on the floor.
